December 2024 - New major project in Hamburg

Source: LinkedIn

09.12.2024 - BarrierSystems GmbH and Consel Group AG are jointly implementing a large-scale project in Hamburg to install modern bollard systems. The first installation at Berta-Kröger-Platz has been successfully completed, with many more to follow. The project requires innovative solutions as the city of Hamburg operates an isolated IT infrastructure without open internet access. As a result, the ControlHub was installed directly on a municipal server. The SmartKits operate autonomously within the city’s internal network and utilize municipal SIM cards. Additionally, various third-party systems need to be integrated, for which BarrierSystems GmbH provides the necessary interfaces based on its open API.

December 2024 - BarrierSystems now also in Wiesbaden!

Source: BarrierSystems

01/12/2024 - BarrierSystems GmbH is to implement the access control solution for two systems for the Hessian state capital of Wiesbaden in the short term. THE BARRIER SYSTEMS PLATFORM

The BARRIERSYSTEMS platform consists, on the one hand, of the SMART KIT for connecting all electrically controllable systems, which can be easily installed in new projects, but can also be easily and cost-effectively retrofitted for existing systems from all manufacturers. Additionally, compatible access sensors such as RFID readers (near and long range), license plate recognition, PIN pad, GSM module, etc. are connected to the SMART KIT which can be used to open the connected barrier system if authorization is valid.
The SMART KIT is also complemented by the CONTROL HUB and the CONTROL APP, which can be used to display the status of all systems in a user-friendly web interface and to configure the systems including access authorizations remotely.
